The intent of this University brief was to represent a second, minute and hour in a typographic way. This poster uses an extreme case of negative space, relating to the pictured ceasium atom, the atom that is used to measure a second as it’s electrons release.

In this sense this outcome reflected a very literal and scientific resolution.

The numbers in the background that give the atom its form also numerically do this, as they echo the exact structure of the atom.
